Art and music therapy for NDIS participants in Southern Adelaide
Creative therapies that build confidence, expression, and connection – right here in Southern Adelaide.
Expression through art
Art therapy at Heartfelt Support is a structured, evidence-informed approach that uses visual art-making – drawing, painting, collage, clay – as a path to emotional expression and personal growth. You don’t need to be “good at art.” The process matters, not the product.
- Build emotional regulation and self-awareness
- Develop confidence and a sense of achievement
- Reduce anxiety and improve mood
- Create connection with others in a supported group setting
- Explore identity and personal strengths
Who it suits
Art therapy is well suited to participants with psychosocial disability, autism, trauma histories, or anyone who finds verbal communication challenging.
Music as connection
Our music programmes use instruments, rhythm, and song in a welcoming group setting. No musical experience needed – only a willingness to join in. Music builds social connection, supports communication, and brings genuine enjoyment to participants’ lives.
- Rhythm and percussion warm-ups
- Group singing and vocal work
- Instrument exploration (guitar, keyboard, percussion)
- Songwriting and self-expression
- Informal performances for family and friends
Who it suits
Music programmes are open to participants with a wide range of disabilities – psychosocial, intellectual, physical – who want to connect with others and express themselves creatively.
