Imagine stepping into a day filled with new experiences, at your own pace, surrounded by nature and the buzz of local life. That’s what Heartfelt Happy Days is designed to offer — a program crafted with you in mind, focused on enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
We explore Adelaide and its surroundings in an 8-seater minibus, without rush or stress. Support workers are always on hand, ensuring a relaxed and genuinely supportive atmosphere where you can be yourself.
What kinds of outings do we do?
Whether it’s a quiet afternoon tea, a stroll through Monarto Safari Park, or discovering the hidden gems of Victor Harbor or Strathalbyn, these outings are designed to be low-key yet fulfilling. Upcoming trips include:
- Nature and wildlife parks — Cleland, Urimbirra, Monarto
- Day trips to Willunga, Victor Harbor, and Strathalbyn
- Horse-related events and visits (we’re quite horsey at Heartfelt, after all)
- SA History Month activities each May
Why group outings matter
These trips aren’t just a nice day out. Research supports the real wellbeing benefits of social outings — improving mood, reducing isolation, building confidence, and creating the kind of shared experiences that form genuine connections.
It’s an opportunity to meet like-minded people, make new friends, and share experiences in a comfortable setting. This isn’t about hustle or crossing items off a list. It’s about taking a moment to enjoy the journey, with all the support you need right there alongside you.
How to get involved
